Abdullah Quilliam Mosque, Liverpool

  • The Abdullah Quilliam Mosque was the UK’s first Mosque, named after the first native Englishman to embrace Islam.
  • As part of a preservation and restoration project to continue his legacy the Abdullah Quilliam Society was formed to restore the original features of the mosque which for decades housed Liverpool records of birth and marriage.
  • We were asked to fabricate and supply marble tiles, vanities, washrooms and much more.

 

 

Hasidic Synagogue, London

  • A six storey opulent synagogue in London
  • Every inch was meticulously detailed with ornate finishes.
  • Our stone was used extensively throughout the project and required several sourcing expeditions around the world.
  • With Indian  Kashmir Gold granite flooring, complete with Norwegian Emerald Pearl round cabashons for much of the flooring.
  • The main foyer motif including a granite waterjet cut floor.
  • The six storey building included an Emerald Pearl granite staircase complete with brass anti slip treads inserted in to each piece
  • Wall were extensively clad in Spanish Crema Marfil Marble in custom sizes
  • On the exterior of the building we completed architectural masonry in a European robust limestone.


Sephardic Synagogue, Cheshire

  • This ornate, yet contemporary Synagogue in Cheshire required large amounts of bespoke stone work.
  • Our stone masons first completed the extensive, unique architectural masonry.
  • Internal stone included a marble patterned foyer, Silestone quartz vanities, a marble staircase and intricate Jerusalem stone work for inside the synagogue prayer room.
  • Limestone and marble slabs were imported to complete the project in our factory.
  • Indian sandstone paving was fabricated to order in bespoke sizes and finish for the patio and gardens that surround the building.
